Robert "Bob" Hamman is an American professional bridge player, widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of the game. He has won numerous world championships and has been a dominant figure in the world of contract bridge for decades.
Early Start
Hamman's international bridge career began in 1963 when he won the ACBL international trials, qualifying for the 1964 World Team Olympiad. In 1969, he joined the Dallas Aces, the first full-time professional bridge team.
