Biography

Dominic O'Brien is a British mnemonist and author who has won the World Memory Championship eight times. Despite being told he had a poor memory as a child, he developed techniques that allowed him to memorize the order of 54 decks of cards after seeing them only once.

Early Start

O'Brien struggled in school and was diagnosed with dyslexia and attention deficit disorder. He became interested in memory techniques after seeing Creighton Carvello memorize a deck of cards on television in 1987.
