Biography
Alfred Pennyworth is the loyal butler and confidant to the Wayne family, and after their tragic death, he becomes the legal guardian and surrogate father to Bruce Wayne. More than just a butler, he is a former British intelligence officer, a skilled medic, and a classically trained actor, all of which he uses to support Batman's mission.
Early Start
Alfred's service to the Wayne family was a continuation of a family tradition, a promise made to his dying father. He began his service when Bruce Wayne was just a child, and after the murder of Bruce's parents, Alfred stepped in to raise the boy.
Challenges Overcome
Alfred has faced numerous challenges, from being a single parent to a traumatized child to aiding a vigilante in a crime-ridden city. He has been kidnapped, tortured, and has even been killed and resurrected, yet his loyalty to Batman has never wavered.
