Photos of babies from around the world
Babies are drawn to faces; introduces diversity early
"Global Babies" is valuable for young children as it introduces them to different cultures around the world through engaging photographs of babies. It helps foster a sense of global citizenship and an appreciation for diversity from an early age. The simple, repetitive text also supports early language development.
The Global Fund for Children (GFC) is a non-profit organization founded in 1994 by Maya Ajmera. It is dedicated to advancing the dignity of children and youth worldwide by partnering with grassroots organizations. GFC's work is supported in part by a children's book publishing venture, which includes the "Global Babies" series.
